Concordia College is organized into administrative units that are designed to assist prospective and current students, parents, friends, alumni, faculty, staff and the community, in connecting with the college.  Below are links to help you find the appropriate personnel to assist you in changing a future

The mission of the Office of Business and Finance at Concordia College Alabama is to provide services to students, faculty and staff, in a very professional manner. Through properly trained and service-oriented staff, the Office of Business and Finance is committed to achieving the mission of Concordia College to prepare students through a Christ-centered education for lives of responsible service in the church, the community and the world.

The Office of Business and Finance is responsible for the financial aid, accounting, management information systems, human resources, bookstore, facilities, maintenance, and food service.
Specific functional responsibilities are information technology, budgeting, general ledger processing, purchasing, accounts payable processing, fixed asset management, student accounts receivable processing, payroll processing, cash management, cashiering, and financial aid.
Office hours are from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Controller’s office is responsible for the development and maintenance of a chart of accounts. The Controller approves all new account numbers for financial transactions. The college uses a uniform coding scheme for the Chart of Accounts. The coding scheme was developed to allow classification of revenues and expenditures in accordance with guidelines developed by the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO).

Fiscal transactions of the college that occur on a daily basis are as follows; cash receipts, invoicing, purchasing, cash disbursements, etc. These transactions are posted directly either to the general ledger individually, or in summary through a subsidiary accounting module such as: accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll, etc.
